Rayo Vallecano picked up their first home win of the season with a 1-0 win over Alaves in La Liga Round 11. The only goal in stoppage time was scored by Alemao, for whom this ball became the first in the top division of Spain.

The match in Vallecas seemed tense from the start. Both teams had their moments, but could not break through the goalkeepers for a long time. Rayo actively possessed the ball, while Alaves looked for their chances on the counterattack.
