“For the second time in a day, the capital is under enemy attack. 3 people died,” rescuers say.
The State Emergency Service noted that rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the UAV firing in the Desnyan district, where the fires occurred. At one of the locations, a nine-story residential building caught fire as a result of being hit by an UAV, and 13 people were rescued from the upper floors.
At another address, an unmanned aerial vehicle hit a sixteen-story building, as a result of which windows from the 1st to the 9th floor were broken.

The Kyiv prosecutor’s office specified that a 19-year-old girl was among the three dead in the Desnyan district.
“Another 29 people were injured, including seven minors. Three of them were hospitalized. In particular, a 15-year-old boy has multiple burns, a 9-year-old girl has cut wounds, a 13-year-old girl received multiple shrapnel wounds. Four children have an acute reaction to stress,” the department says.
It is also known that as a result of the attack of the Russian Federation, two multi-story residential buildings in the Desnyan district were damaged, in one of them the fire covered the apartments from the first to the seventh floor.
“In the Obolonsky district, the windows of the house were blown out by the blast wave. In the private sector in Darnytsia district, a fence of a house and a car were damaged. Currently, the rescue operation in Desnyan district is ongoing. The final number of victims is being determined,” the prosecutor’s office concluded.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
