The head of the United States of America, Donald Trump, having arrived in Malaysia, joined the dance action from the local residents who welcomed him. The corresponding video was published by Magno News.
The head of the Presidential Administration was met by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim. After a short conversation, Trump decided to join a local dance performance. The American leader’s decision was met with loud applause.
The dance that took place during the meeting is an integral part of the state welcome ceremony. It contains elements of the martial art of silat, which is quite common in Malaysia.
Trump arrived in Malaysia to participate in the ASEAN Summit. After the ceremony, Trump and Ibrahim will hold a bilateral meeting. Also, the American president plans to be present during the signing by Thailand and Cambodia of the declaration on the principles of good neighborly relations, which is aimed at reducing tensions after the recent border conflict.
