He was nominated for the Golden Boy along with Mbappe and currently plays in the 4th league

Danny Collinge in 2018, he was nominated for a prestigious award Golden Boy along with Kylian Mbappé, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Vinicius Junior and by Matthijs de Ligt.

At that time, he played for the second team of Stuttgart, but despite recognition in Europe, he was not appreciated at the club itself – and was soon let go.

After unsuccessful years at Colchester and Dover, which ended the season with one point due to a penalty, Collinge finally became an EFL player at the age of 27, winning promotion with Barnet: “It took time but I’m happy I got there. “It was amazing to be on the list alongside Mbappe and de Ligt when Stuttgart said I could go,” he told SunSport.

Collinge moved to Germany aged 16 to combine football and education and spent five years there. He admits that this experience made him more independent and stronger. He can cover several positions on the football field at once: central defender, right defender and defensive midfielder.

After a difficult season at Dover, he developed leadership qualities and earned a call-up to Barnet, with whom he won promotion to League Two: “We’re new at this level, so it’s important not to think ahead. The matches are difficult, but I enjoy this stage,” says the 27-year-old defender.
