A famous Ukrainian coach Myron Markevich called on Shakhtar coach Ardu Turan to decide on the main team composition.
“It’s hard for me to say. Turan needs to decide on the main line-up and play with it. In one match, some football players play, in the second – others. I can’t understand anything! What is there to fear for our championship with such purchases? Shakhtar has to beat everyone in one breath, and he concedes four goals each. So, something is wrong there,” said Markevich.
On October 23, the match of the 2nd round of the Conference League 2025/26 was held. Shakhtar Donetsk hosted Polish Legia from Warsaw in Kraków, Poland. The Ukrainian club was defeated 1:2.
