According to the results of 2025, gas production in Ukraine may decrease by approximately 30% compared to last year’s figures.
Natalya Boyko, deputy head of the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine, stated this.
“How much will we lose from the strikes… If we take our ambitious growth points, it is obvious that it is more than 30%,” she said at the “Energy of Business” forum held in Kyiv.
At the same time, Boyko noted that 50% of generation was lost from strikes on energy facilities in February of this year, but the lost production was restored at the beginning of September.
We will remind that Ukrainians were urged to save gas due to Russian attacks.
Ukraine started discuss with international partners, the possibility of paying for gas imports against the background of Russia’s attacks on energy infrastructure, including gas storage facilities.
