Rybakin is one step away from Pidsumkovo. The quarterfinals will be held on October 24 in Tokyo

In the morning of October 24 at the hard tournament WTA 500 in Tokyo (Japan) 1/4 final matches will be held.

Quarter-final pairs of the five hundred: Belinda Bencic – Karolina Mukhova, Ekaterina Aleksandrova – Sofia Kenin, Anna Kalinskaya – Linda Noskova, Victoria Mboko – Yelena Rybakina.

Thanks to her victory over Leila Fernandez in the second round, Rybakina came close to qualifying for the WTA Finals 2025. For this, she will have to beat Mboko, who ended her four-match winning streak in Japan by defeating Bianca Andreescu and Eva Lys.

One representative of Ukraine – Dayana Yastremska – played in the Tokyo main draw. She lost to Diana Schneider in the first round. “Neutralka” was knocked out in the 1/8 finals by the same tennis player without a flag, Anna Kalinskaya.
