Streaming Ratings: ‘Black Rabbit’ Hops to Top Spot

Netflix’s Black Rabbit took over the No. 1 spot on Nielsen’s streaming charts in its second week of release.

The drama starring Jude Law and Jason Bateman delivered 1.26 billion minutes of viewing for the week of Sept. 22-28, moving up one spot from the previous week (and growing by just more than 2 percent week to week). Black Rabbit was the only streaming title to top the billion-minute mark for the week, which also marked the start of the 2025-26 season on linear networks and thus an influx of new series of network series.

Another Netflix show, Waywardgrabbed the second overall spot, premiering with 846 million viewing minutes. Also joining the top 10 original series rankings were Netflix’s House of Guinnesswhich debuted with 526 million minutes, and returned The Morning Show (458 minutes on Apple TV) and Tulsa King (452 million on Paramount+).

Fox’s medical drama Doc also made its streaming chart debut with 657 million minutes of watch time on Hulu and Netflix. The show’s first season streams on Netflix as part of a deal with producers Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV; episodes from the current second season will stream on Hulu the day after their on-air premieres (both count toward Nielsen’s streaming time total).

KPop Demon Hunters continued to rule the movie rankings with 746 million viewing minutes. James Gunn’s Superman moved up to second with 569 million minutes on HBO Max.

Nielsen’s streaming ratings cover viewing on TV sets only and do not include minutes watched on computers or mobile devices. The ratings only measure US audiences, not those in other countries. The top streaming titles for Sept. 22-28, 2025, are below.
