Svitlana Grynchuk noted that the repair of another power supply line of the ZNPP from the Ukrainian power system is underway.

She reminded that the ZANP was in a blackout for a month, which became the tenth during its occupation by Russia. Grynchuk noted that the reason for the month-long blackout was the actions of the Russian occupying forces, which systematically fired at the power lines connecting the ZNPP with the unified energy system of Ukraine.
“After the completion of the repair of the 750 kV Dniprovska line, the repair of the 330 kV Ferosplavna line continues,” the minister added.
At the same time, Grynchuk noted that the only way to guarantee long-term nuclear security is complete demilitarization, de-occupation of the Zaporizhia NPP and its return to the full legal control of the Ukrainian operator – Energoatom.
Blackout at the Zaporizhzhia NPP – the latest newsOn September 23, the Zaporizhzhia NPP lost power from the Ukrainian energy systems. The blackout, according to Minienergo, began at 4:56 p.m. The station switched to working from diesel generators.
Oleg Korikov, head of the State Atomic Energy Regulatory Commission, speaking about the lack of external power supply at the ZNPP, noted that this could lead to a radiation accident. However, other experts noted that the risk of a second Fukushima accident was minimal.
On October 16, it became known that Moscow may cease fire in order to restore power to the ZNPP from the Ukrainian power system. Soon, the repair of the corresponding power lines began.
