A terrible traffic accident took place in the Nadvirnyan district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, which took the lives of two people.

The car was driven by a 23-year-old teacher who was driving under the influence of alcohol. The tragedy occurred on October 21 in the village of Krasna, when an art teacher was driving a group of teenagers in his car.
According to the investigation, the young teacher was driving a Hyundai Tucson SUV while intoxicated — the breathalyzer showed 1.38 ppm of alcohol in his blood.
The man lost control, as a result of which the car went off the roadway and crashed into a concrete pillar. There were seven people in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, five of whom were minors.
The consequences of the accident turned out to be tragic: a 14-year-old student of an educational institution died at the scene, and a 21-year-old passenger died in a medical institution.
Four more minors received injuries of varying degrees of severity and were urgently hospitalized at the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital, where they are provided with the necessary medical assistance.
