Ukrainian tennis player Oleksandr Oliinikov (WTA 139) got off to a good start at the WTA 125 clay tournament in Florianapolis, Brazil.
In the 1/16 finals, Oliynykova’s opponent, seeded at the tournament at number eight, was a representative of Argentina – Luisina Giovannini (WTA 277).
The Ukrainian confidently won both sets. Moreover, in the second, she did not give her opponent a single game. In general, during the meeting, the Ukrainian realized all three break points and lost only one game on her serve.
Oliynykova’s next opponent will be determined in the match between Julio Riera (Argentina) and Polona Herzog (Slovenia).
