In the village of Mygalki, Kyiv region, a 15-year-old car driver was involved in a traffic accident, as a result of which another teenager died. Six more people were injured and hospitalized.

“The law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that the 15-year-old driver of the Opel Vectra, while driving along Shevchenko Street, failed to control the vehicle and allowed it to go beyond the roadway into a ditch, where the car collided with a tree.the police explained.

A 14-year-old passenger died at the scene of the car crash. Six more minors, who were in the car’s cabin, received bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity. The injured were hospitalized.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code – violation of road safety rules or operation of a vehicle, which caused death.

The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
