On Sunday, October 19, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the company’s mine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. DTEK reported that 192 mine workers were underground during the attack, and all of them were brought to the surface.
In recent weeks, the Russian military has intensified its shelling of the Ukrainian energy and gas infrastructure, which supplies people with gas during the heating season.
