“In connection with the difficult situation in the energy system caused by mass shelling and damage to the energy infrastructure, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers are applied in all regions of Ukraine from 06:00 to 22:00. Hourly power outage schedules continue to operate in Chernihiv Oblast due to the consequences of previous enemy attacks on the region’s energy infrastructure,” the message reads.
Meanwhile, “Ukrenergo” stated that as a result of regular Russian drone attacks on energy facilities, consumers in several regions are without power. They were not listed there, mentioning only Chernihiv Oblast.
“Kharkivoblenergo” reported that due to previous Russian shelling and as a result of overloading of the network, a part of the Kholodnohirsky district of Kharkiv was cut off.
The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.
The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.
The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
