A woman who threw her friend’s dog out of the window during the conflict was detained in Kyiv

In the capital, law enforcement officers announced that a woman who threw her friend’s dog out of a fifth-floor window was suspected of animal cruelty – she faces up to eight years behind bars for what she did.

In Kyiv, the law enforcement officers announced a suspicion of a woman who threw her friend’s dog from the window of the fifth floor. The animal died from its injuries.

The law enforcement officers received a report that a dog, which had just been thrown from the window, was lying near the entrance of the house on Danylo Shcherbakivskyi Street.

At the scene, the police found out that a 38-year-old woman, who was visiting a friend, threw the animal out of the window of the fifth floor while drunk.

“There was a verbal conflict between them, and then the woman grabbed the owner’s pet – a fox terrier – and threw it out of the window.” – the message says.

As a result of the fall, the dog suffered serious injuries of internal organs, incompatible with life, and died on the spot.

The perpetrators announced suspicion under Part 3 of Article 299 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (cruelty to animals). She faces up to eight years in prison for what she did.
