Butko’s direct speech: “In 1 day of submission of documents, 6 people expressed their desire to become the head of an important state body. Among them: former fiscal officers of the times of Yanukovych and Klymenko, long-term politicians with huge fortunes and several generally unknown persons.”

According to Nemchinov, 43 people submitted documents for participation in the competition for the position of head of the tax office on Sunday and Monday.
Nemchynov’s direct speech: “The government’s decision was made on Friday, it appeared on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers on Saturday, and in fact documents are being accepted on Sunday and Monday. It’s not much, but in those two days only one application for the position of head of tax 43 was made.”
Details: Butko notes that interviews with candidates are already planned for April 28, without any competitive commissions or test procedures.
In particular, the coordinator of PROSUD informed that the following should apply for the post of chief tax officer: Vasyl Poezd, Herman Andes, Mykola Katerynchuk, Yelizaveta Roshuorova, Dmytro Ivanov, Dmytro Oleksienko.
Vasyl Poezd – an employee of the State Fiscal Service. He is also applying for the post of deputy head of the DPS.
Vasyl PoezdButko writes that Pozez became famous in 2012 when, as the head of the tax department, he led the search of the Rozetka store by tax officials. The online store was then accused of tax evasion, but such raids were a standard pattern of pressure on business by the Yanukovych government.
In 2017, Vasyl Poezd won the competition for which he created situational tasks himself. Based on this fact, the SBU and the Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv conducted searches, but the investigation reached a dead end, and the Train continued its work.
Herman Andes – another candidate for the position of head of the DPS, who has been working in the fiscal service for a long time. He is also simultaneously applying for the position of deputy head of the DPS.
In 2012, during Yanukovych’s time, Andes held the position of head of the regional department of the Department of Control over the Production and Circulation of Alcohol, Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco Products of the DPS of Ukraine in Kyiv.
Herman AndesAndes declared land plots in Kyiv with a total area of over 15 hectares, real estate in the capital, an expensive watch and a huge loan of over UAH 73 million as collateral for the mentioned plots. Most of this can be found in the declarations before 2018. In fiscal 2019, there are no loans or plots.
Mykola Katerynchuk – the former deputy of the People’s Republic is also applying for the position of head of the tax department. Katerynchuk is a People’s Deputy of three convocations: 2002, 2007 and 2012.
The former People’s Deputy owns luxury real estate. In particular, an apartment in Kyiv worth more than UAH 27 million. There is more in the wealth declaration.
Mykola KaterynchukElizaveta Roshuorova – a candidate for the position of head of the tax department. According to the declaration, neither the candidate nor the adult members of her family (husband and mother) earned a single hryvnia in 2019. Butko believes that Roshuorova and her family are hiding their official income.
Oleksienko is a member of the Federation of Accountants and Auditors. He is the beneficiary of three audit firms: one of them, “Standard-Audit” LLC, has won 22 state tenders worth almost UAH 8 million in recent years.
Oleksienko himself, according to the declaration, earned a little more than UAH 100,000 for the whole of 2019.
Dmitry Ivanov also a candidate for the post of chairman and deputy of the DPS. According to the declaration, he lives in Chernihiv and is a co-owner of a company engaged in the production of paints and varnishes. Ivanov is also registered as a private entrepreneur whose field of work is painting and plastering.
What happened before: On April 24, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the heads of the tax and customs service, Serhiy Verlanov and Maksym Nefedov.
The next day, the government announced a new competition for the position of head and deputy of the State Tax Service. The deadline for submitting documents was Monday, April 27, that is, the candidate had only 1 working day to prepare and submit documents.
The news was presented without Nemchinov’s position. The number of applicants for the seat of the head of the tax service has been specified from 6 to 43.
