Dr Steven Roberts ‘”bused his position of power” when he growled at one woman after noticing her new uniform.

A tribunal heard that during a shift, Dr Roberts told a co-worker that “he didn’t know where to look” after noticing she was wearing a new uniform.
It was heard that he then made a “dirty-minded growl” before using his hands to make her breasts “jiggle” for 20 seconds.
Dr Roberts was also found to have “grabbed’ another co-worker’s waist and did not let go, even though she tried to “push herself away” and asked him “what he was doing”.
The woman said the incident left her feeling “panicked and distracted” and “too sick to eat” during her night shift.
Dr Roberts did apologise for his actions and said he did not think he ‘grabbed’ her.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service found that Dr Roberts’ actions constituted sexual misconduct.
They have now erased his name from the medical register.
Dr Roberts qualified as a doctor in 1992 from the University of Leeds and practised as a consultant anaesthetist at the Hull Royal Infirmary.
