In the evening of Saturday, October 18, protests against the administration of Donald Trump began in a large number of American cities. Citizens in large numbers take to the streets with the motto “No Kings”. This is reported by The Wall Street Journal.
Organizers, including prominent liberal groups, plan to openly challenge President Trump, who they say is behaving more like a monarch than a president. In their opinion, Trump does not take to does not pay attention to the opinion of its constituents and often does not reflect their interests. Millions of people across the US are expected to gather in parks and downtown squares on Saturday to protest what they say are the authoritarian actions of the Trump administration.
Organizers hope to exceed the number of participants in June, which they estimate reached five million people. More than 2,500 rallies and events are planned across the state, which is about 400 more than last time. In particular, 100,000 people are expected to participate in the capital, Washington.
