Red Bull pilot Max Verstappen won the pole. The driver gave an incredible decisive lap and was ahead of Lando Norris by 0.3 seconds. At the same time, the team did not calculate the time and Max did not have time to pass his second attempt.
The third result was unexpectedly shown by Charles Leclerc, and Oscar Piastri had an unsuccessful qualification – 6th place.
It is worth saying that after the accident in the sprint, McLaren was forced to repair both cars, so the pilots were not in an optimal situation before qualifying.
Interestingly, there were red flags in the first segment due to Isak Hajjar’s accident. Albon and Bortoleto did not make it to the second segment, and Hulkenberg, Tsunoda and Lawson did not make it to the top 10.
