According to the Delfi publication, the State Security Service of Latvia (SSB) opened criminal proceedings on October 17 against a citizen of the country who verbally attacked and threatened a Ukrainian-speaking family on a train in Switzerland.
The criminal process was initiated based on the fact of actions aimed at inciting national and ethnic enmity and enmity against Ukrainians, associated with violence and threats.
It is noted that the criminal proceedings were opened after the appearance of a video on the Internet, which recorded the incident itself, which, as reported, happened on October 13 on a train in Switzerland. At the same time, information appeared that Latvian Oleksandr St. was involved in the verbal attack.
In the released video, the man used profanity and threatened the Ukrainian-speaking family, in particular, declaring that “we will kill you and we will kill you all until the end.”
