“WBA title holder Kubrat Pulev announced that the fight with Moses will not take place”, — write: sport.ua
Promoter Frank Warren planned that his charge will enter the ring on December 13 in Manchester, but representatives of the heavyweight division avoid a dangerous opponent.
Croatian Filip Hrgovic, who demanded about two million euros from Warren, refused to fight with Itauma. As a result, the negotiations between the parties failed, and Frank turned to the American Jermaine Franklin, but also heard a refusal.
Contacts with the Nigerian Efe Ajagboy and the British Hughie Fury ended in failure. As a result, the World Boxing Association (WBA) came to the rescue, forcing its champion, Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev, to enter the ring with Moses.
But even in this case, the Briton was left without a rival – the representative of Bulgaria announced that he had already agreed on a match with the Russian Murat Gasiev.
Now Frank Warren is considering two options – either to move the Itauma fight from December 13 to next year, or to find a less prestigious opponent on that date.
