Zhytomyr police, together with foreign colleagues, extradited from Germany a suspect in a robbery attack on tax collectors, who had been hiding abroad for a long time.
This is reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The suspect is currently in custody.
Details of the crime:
- The attack happened September 9, 2019 during collection support of 150,000 hryvnias.
- Near the special vehicle, one of the attackers attacked the driver, wounded a law enforcement officer with a firearm and took his pistol.
- The perpetrators could not take the moneyas the police managed to lock them in the protected compartment of the car. After that, the attackers fled.
One of the accomplices was detained by the police earlier, and the other (extradited) was declared wanted and reported in absentia about the suspicion. Information about the fugitive was published in the records of the General Secretariat of Interpol.
Earlier, a former official of the State Automobile Inspection Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Cherkasy Region was extradited from Germany to Ukraine . He I suspect there are i.e sia in illegal legalization premium cars .
