At the 222nd session in Paris, the UNESCO Executive Council made another decision to strengthen Ukraine’s support, confirming solidarity with the Ukrainian people and urging the CEO to continue monitoring the situation in internationally recognized Ukrainian borders.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, the decision of the Executive Council confirms UNESCO’s unwavering position to protect the sovereignty, territorial integrity of Ukraine, international law and human rights.
UNESCO’s support, which already produces specific results, will intensify, in particular during post -war recovery. Ukraine considers UNESCO assistance as an integral part of global solidarity and a joint contribution to the restoration and rebuilding of the country.
