From now on, individuals and self -employed in the field of agriculture can now use the State Program for Compensation for Humanitarian Demand.
The government approved the relevant amendments to Resolution No. 284, the Ministry of Economy reports.
Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, Igor Bezkaravayny, noted that about one million hectares of agrozemel are located in the territories where hostilities were carried out or are underway, and it is not possible to work safely everywhere. Owners or tenants of such sites can now apply for demining at the expense of the state and safely cultivate the land after cleaning.
Applications are submitted through the State Agrarian Register or in person in paper or electronic form. Local authorities check the accuracy of information within three days and include approved applications in the manufacturer’s list for compensation.
This list is transferred to the Humanitarian Demin Center (CGR) on a monthly basis, which checks the data and conducts a auction for the purchase of demining services after opening the escrow account with the applicant.
The application may be rejected if it is impossible to mine due to a dangerous situation, inconsistency of land or producers with the established requirements.
The changes to the resolution will come into force 10 working days after adoption. In total, 5 165 hectares of agrozemel have already been returned within the state program.
