The 31-year-old player was injured during a match on October 5 as a result of a collision with his head with a LED panel after he was pushed by his opponent.
On Monday, the club reported that Asama is threatened with high -level paraplegia (note – a condition in which a person loses the ability to arbitrarily move the lower body) after receiving multiple fractures of the cervical vertebrae and significant damage to the nerves.
Later, Guya Pingo said that asama underwent surgery and is now in a stable state. However, the process of its recovery will be reported later, as the player still needs to undergo further examinations.
Asama spent most of his careers in Belgium before moving to China in 2024. He has 6 matches for the team.
