“The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on reservation”, – WRITE: www.radiosvoboda.org
The law on the organization of labor relations in the conditions of martial law (No. 13335) was voted by 272 deputies.
According to the Verkhovna Rada press service, the basic provisions of the document relate to the booking of employees of the enterprises of the defense enterprises, even if they have problems with military accounting:
• such reservation only applies once a year and does not release from liability;
• the maximum test period is set – 45 days when hiring for the enterprises of the defense industry;
• The employer has the right to dismiss the employee if he has not eliminated the violation of the military account on time.
The People’s Deputy from the faction of “Servant of the People” Galina Yanchenko noted that now Ukrainian enterprises of the defense industry will be able to temporarily book employees for 45 days, even if they have not yet regulated issues with military accounting.
“This time will allow people to pass the VLK, arrange documents and get a job at the factories. And not to hide from the shopping center. This means that we will get more experts in shops – more Ukrainian weapons at the front, ”she wrote on Facebook.
The law also details the peculiarities of the conclusion and change of the terms of the employment contract, the transfer of employees to distance work, the establishment of a flexible working time regime, as well as the termination of employment relations in the event that it is impossible to continue the work of the enterprise through hostilities.
In Ukraine of February 24, 2022, martial law was introduced. At the same time, they announced the general mobilization. Since then, the Verkhovna Rada has regularly extended the timing of martial law and mobilization.
