The lawsuit concerned over $ 128 million of unpaid initial compensation for former Twitter executives. According to an update of the case submitted to the District Court of Northern California, the parties – Twitter’s Exodestor Paragal Agraval, Ned Sagal CFO, Chief Legal Counteer Vidzha Gadde and Legal Advisor Sean Edget – reached a confidential agreement with Mask and Company X.
The settlement agreement depends on the fulfillment of “certain conditions” that were not specified in the documents. Current terms in the case are postponed to give the mask time to fulfill obligations. If the conditions of settlement are not fulfilled, the hearing in the case will be renewed on October 31 this year.
The claim against Ilon Mask was filed in March 2024 after a prolonged conflict, in which the exclinants accused the mask of deliberately closing the agreement for $ 44 billion to avoid the payment of $ 200 million, which was to be charged the next day after their options were entered into.
In the complaint of former Twitter executives, a biography of Walter Isaxon’s mask was quoted, where he allegedly declared a biographer about “pursuing each of the Twitter leaders by the end of their days.”
Last year, Ilon Musk won a court case for former Twitter workers who accused him of non -payment of debts. The lawsuit claimed that Musk and Company X owed at least $ 500 million of severance pay to about 6,000 former employees of the company, which he dismissed in 2022 after buying Twitter. However, the district judge in San Francisco has decided that Ilon Musk is not obliged to fulfill the terms of the dismissal agreements that these employees concluded on Twitter.
