The corresponding order allows the Ministry of Defense to administer the financing of key areas of development of the defense-industrial complex.
The total amount of financing is over UAH 36.6 billion. Funds will be directed at:
- implementation of the Development Programs of the defense of the defense of the defense;
- introduction of new technologies;
- expansion of production industry production capacity;
- purchase of weapons and military equipment.
Separately, UAH 500 million is provided for state financial support for enterprises operating in the field of defense industry.
The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denis Shmigal noted that the work is conducted comprehensively and systematically in order to strengthen the country’s defense capability at the expense of domestic weapons.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers recently agreed additional financing of the Ministry of Defense for UAH 311 billion.
