According to the Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in the Lviv region, at the end of March 2025, a 22-year-old girl agreed to the Courier Task from anonymous, which promised her $ 3000 for transportation. The girl involved her 21-year-old acquaintance in this “work”. However, arriving in the forest strip near Lviv, instead of money, the couple found a bag with a homemade explosive device (SVP).
After that, the anonymous, who introduced himself to the Russian special services employee, suggested that they cooperate on what the persons had agreed. They purchased equipment for remote video surveillance and fixing of the planned terrorist attack by the enemy side. The next step was the laying of a masked explosive device near the building of one of the district police departments of Lviv.
Due to the timely and coordinated actions of the counterintelligence of the SBU, the terrorist attack was warned and both agents were detained during an attempt to realize a criminal intention. The boy and the girl are currently suspected of treason and illegal treatment of explosive devices.
