In the greatest risk group – adolescents aged 14 to 16 years, informs Office of the Prosecutor General.
UNISEF’s reference to UNICEF data says that almost 46,000 children aged 10 to 19 are killed every year from suicide. This means that every 11 minutes of life loses one minor.
During September 2025, Ukrainian juvenile prosecutors held almost 3.5 thousand preventive measures for 116,000 students in 6-11 grades. OGP emphasized that the avoidance of suicide among children is a common task of parents, educators, law enforcement and society.
”Effective prevention is possible only if joint responsibility. Only by combining efforts, we can create a safe environment for children where every child will feel heard and protected “– they believe in the prosecutor’s office.
