– Is it true that you could work in Dynamo?
– Yes. At first, Victor Kazansky, who is one of the club managers, addressed me. Dynamo President Igor Surkis invited me to Poland while preparing for a game with McCabi. I had a long conversation with the head coach Alexander Shovkovsky. The club viewed me as an advisor who will propose a club development plan – from the point of view of strategy, tactics and development of youth. At the last moment, something changed, they changed their opinion, although the President was very active in the negotiations.
– You communicated with Dynamo President. What role did he see for you in the club? Is the technical director, manager, sports director?
– We discussed my appointment with the President in Dynamo in the position of technical director or advisor, which he personally saw in four points. The second is how to develop an academy, because for me Dynamo is a club that always had good football players. Third – breeding tips.
