The organization of illegal business is suspected of cohabitants-a 54-year-old resident of Kiev and a 47-year-old man from Odesa region.
According to the investigation, through the online store they have established the sale of drugs with psychotropic substance Sibutramine. They were imported from Asian countries outside customs control and masked by weight loss.

The criminal group included 13 people who operated in Kyiv, Kirovograd, Zaporizhia and Odessa regions.
They redeem the drugs and implemented large batches through the online store. The orders were accepted online and the goods were sent by mail.
The preparations were advertised as a “miracle-remedy” with a natural composition for easy weight loss and a quick result without any effort.
During the searches, law enforcement officers seized about half a million pills “at the prices of the black market” for over UAH 52 million.
The supply channel to Ukraine was blocked.

The organizers of illegal business were reported suspected of storing and selling psychotropic, repeated – part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
They are threatened with imprisonment for a term of 6 to 10 years with confiscation of property.
After completing all the examinations, they will resolve the issues of additional qualification and notify the suspicion to other participants of the scheme.
