In Khmelnytskyi, hunters announced the so -called “trials for badger” – competitions during which hunting dogs are trained on a living wild animal placed in the aviary.

Information about the event appeared on the Facebook page of the Trofes of Podillya, Khmelnytskyi, but after a wave of criticism, the post was deleted.

Zoo -protection organization Uanimals She spoke With a statement against such practices, she called for public publicity.

”This wild animal (Badger – Ed.) Growing or caught specifically for such horrible testing … Even despite the so -called “safety measures” for animals, it is still injury, stress and continuous suffering. The enclosure will not protect this badger from the horror of hunting, or even from death as a result of stress”– the organization said.

Uanimals emphasize that any hunting practices are inhumane: they harm wild animals, provoke aggression in dogs and destroy the values ​​of humanity in society.

”Dogs are our friends and family members, not a murder tool!” – the zoos emphasized.

The lawyers of the organization have already appealed to the State Environmental Inspectorate and the State Forest with a request for the legitimacy of the “tests”.

After criticism on social networks, the organizers first limited the comments under the announcement, and subsequently removed it completely.

Uanimals promised to inform the public about the results of the audit.

”We can’t stay away. We urge to disseminate this information and ask for hunting associations: how many more will they shine living things for entertainment?” – the statement said.
