“The President of Poland has signed a law that contains a continuation of the financing for the Starlink terminals in Ukraine. During the war, this technology is critical: for hospitals, schools, critical infrastructure and frontier regions remained in connection, ”Fedorov wrote in a telegram.
He recalled that more than 50,000 Starlink terminals are operating in Ukraine, and more than 29 thousand have been handed over by Polish partners.
“I thank the Minister of Digitalization of Poland Krzysztof Gavkovsky and the whole government of Poland for solidarity and stable support for Ukraine,” the minister added.
Last month, the Viceremier-Minister of Digitivation of Poland Krzysztof Gavkovsky criticized President Karol Navrotsky for a veto for amendment to the law for assistance to Ukrainian citizens of Ukraine, because, according to him, it will disconnect Starlink. In the office of Navrotsky, it was denied.
The ability to use Starlink terminals in Ukraine appeared at the end of February 2022. Starlink provides an important connection to the Internet for the war of Ukrainian cities and its military.
