According to the head of the department Alexei Kuleba, most Ukrainian exports with the value added are transported by roads, and during the agreement the share of trade in Ukraine with EU by road increased by almost 55%:

The European Commission has confirmed that “transport visa waiver” will operate until March 31, 2027. According to the executive body of the European Union, the agreement “significantly intensified automotive trade between Ukraine and the EU, benefiting both economies.”
The agreement on liberalization of freight transportation between Ukraine and the European Union, known as “transport visa waiver” was first signed in June 2022.
In April 2025, the Liberalization of freight transportation between Ukraine and the European Union continued by the end of this year.
