In China, an excellence was sentenced for bribery to death penalty

Former Chinese Tan Zenjiang Minister of Agriculture was sentenced to death with a deferred sentence for bribery.

Details: Tan Zheniang for bribery was sentenced to death with a delay in execution of a sentence in court of Zilin province on Sunday.

According to Xinhua, Tan took bribes in the form of cash and property, occupying various positions from 2007 to 2024.

According to the Chinese agency, the total amount of bribes received by it is more than 268 million yuan ($ 37.6 million)

Chanchun’s intermediate People’s Court suspended the execution of the death sentence for two years, noting that the former official confessed to his crimes.
