The Ministry of Health of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine plans to use military drones for transportation of donor bodies.
The CEO of the Institute of Heart of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Boris Todurov, spoke about the project in conversation with the “Defender”.
The project will accelerate the delivery of the heart throughout Ukraine and reduce the cost of transportation from several thousand dollars to 360 UAH.
Todurov explained that road transportation limits the distance of delivery through traffic, traffic lights and danger to the medical brigade. The drones overcome the required distance almost twice the car and do not depend on the road conditions.
The Institute is testing two Ukrainian UAVs. The PD-2 hybrid drone from Ukrspetssystem is transported up to 10 kg at a range of 700 km at a speed of 150 km/h. The copter drone transports up to 20 kg at a distance of 50 km.
Recall that Chinese drone conducted successful delivery testing of 1.2 tons of cargo.
Also, a team from South Korea presented the Flying Drone Authority.
