In the fields of the UN General Assembly in New York, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with the President of the South African Republic of Syril Ramafhos.

“He said that Russia now increases the drones of civilian objects and informed about the situation at the front. He emphasized that, unlike Russia, Ukraine is ready to meet at the leadership level without any preliminary conditions, ”he wrote in the telegram.

The President thanked the Ramafos Syril for the readiness of South Africa to take such a meeting and for the country’s involvement in the peace process.

The President of South Africa’s press service has not commented on this meeting.

On the eve of Zelensky, he negotiated with Switzerland President Karin Keller Zutter, who, he said, also voiced her country’s willingness to meet the leaders to end the war.
