The bill also stipulates that summons can be sent any time during the year. If the conscript does not receive the call, he is obliged to appear on his own to the military enlistment office for reconciliation of the data within two weeks from the beginning of the next delivery period.
It is noted that the author of the initiative, the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Defense Andriy Kartpolov stated that the innovation should “unload military enlistment offices”, which now “work for three months a year in a scalded cat mode”.
