Zelensky stressed that his relationship with Trump has improved/ Presidential photoPresident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that his relations with US President Donald Trump have improved significantly, and became more coordinated on how to wage war with Russia. Zelensky told this in an interview with Fox News.
“I think we have better relationships than before. Well, we often called each other, and the fact that Putin lied to President Trump so many times has also influenced our relationship,” the President said.
Zelensky also said that the intelligence data exchanged by Kiev and Washington are now more closely agreed that he called it important for making decisions on the battlefield.
He also positively appreciated Trump’s positive tone lately.
“President Trump was more positive in this matter, and he showed that he wanted to support Ukraine until the end,” Zelensky said. “I was very positive about the signals that Trump and America will be with us by the end of the war.”
He also added that Trump’s position has shifted in the issue of territorial concessions.
“I think he realizes today that we cannot just exchange territories. It’s unfair,” Zelensky said.
