According to the investigation, for more than a year and a half, one of the military units in Rivne involved three military (two drivers and electricity) in the construction of his own home in Zolochiv district in Lviv region. In the documents, he stated that they were allegedly in part and perform combat missions.
For this, the military received cash and additional payments, repeatedly awarded with certificates. In such a way, more than UAH 1.3 million was illegally paid from the state budget.
During the search at the construction site, two servicemen who performed the work were discovered. They seized mobile phones, bank cards, land documents, construction invoices and other material evidence.
The military reported suspicion of exceeding power and official powers that caused grave consequences committed in the context of martial law under the prior conspiracy by a group of persons. At the request of prosecutors, he was chosen a pre -trial detention measure with the right to make bail.
The military faces up to 12 years in prison.
