France Football has announced the owner of Trofy Yashin, who is awarded the best goalkeeper in the world every year. The winner was the Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
At the Golden Ball-20125 Golden Ball ceremony, Donnarumma received the award as the best goal of the year. Last season, he designed the Trebl as part of PSG, and now stands for Manchester City.
Yashin’s trophy launched in 2019. It is named after the legendary Soviet goalkeeper Leo Yashin, the only goalkeeper who has ever won the golden ball. The winner is determined by journalists who also vote for the main award of France Football.
