What is more important for Ukrainians than family and health: survey showed unexpected results

“When the respondents were asked to choose up to the three most important values ​​from the list, the victory of Ukraine (62%), family and loved ones (53%), their own health (34%), independence of the Ukrainian state (26%), and the restoration of Ukraine (20%),” were most often referred to as the study.

Among the institutions, Ukrainians express the highest confidence in volunteer organizations (63%). The least trust in NGOs (30%, another 37% hesitate), local (25%, another 27% hesitated) and central (24%, another 26% hesitated) to the authorities.

The survey also showed that the vast majority of Ukrainians optimistically evaluate both the future of Ukraine (76%) and in fact (72%). More than 70% believe that they can cope with the problems they arise.

In addition, it is noted that there is a sense of unity with other Ukrainians, almost two thirds of respondents express it.

“53%are identified with the local community. The level of solidarity and mutual aid (48%), justice (45%) in society and the confidence that the state in a crisis will make the right decision (44%),” the study said.

The survey was conducted on July 20-22 among 1000 respondents. Sample format: random sampling of mobile telephone numbers (the population of Ukraine aged 18 years and older in all regions, except for the temporarily occupied territories of Crimea and Donbass, as well as the territories where there is no Ukrainian mobile communication at the time of the survey). The sample is representative by age, gender and type of settlement (error – not more than 2.2% with a confidence probability 0.95).

The results of other surveys in UkraineAs reported by UNIAN, another study showed that most Ukrainians (62%) continue to respond that they are ready to endure the war as much as they need.

Another 4% replied that they were ready to endure for about a year. 21% of respondents (almost unchanged over the last few months) say the shorter period (six months or several months). The indicator among those who expects the completion in 2026 – 63%, among those who expect in 2027 and later – 74%.
