Arsenal vs Man City LIVE SCORE: Premier League updates as Haaland fires visitors ahead in blockbuster clash

  Reijnders’ clearance inside his own box is terrible, straight to the midfielder on the edge of the box with loads of time to pick his spot, before curling it over the top!

  Doku skips away from him on halfway and driving inside, where Timber has a couple of nibbles at him before eventually wiping him out.

  But not much to show from it with one shot on target from four taken.

  Even set pieces have been easy to deal with for the visitors.

  Doku’s cross is blocked behind for a corner but the whistle goes for half time to stop them being able to take it.

  Stupidity from him yet somehow, after Gabriel is allowed to roar in his face for 60 seconds, the referee doesn’t act on it.

  Bernardo had thrown the ball at Trossard who was stretching out too, which was stupid from him on a yellow card.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City45+2. I can only assume Madueke has been told to hit the near post with his deliveries in.

  Again, headed away at the near post by City who have stood up to every ball into their box so far.

  

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City45+1. Madueke smashes a shot low and hard at Donnarumma’s near post and it’s a good save to push it round the post.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City44. Celebrations inside the City box as Donnarumma and Dias delight at the latest bit of defending.

  Great play from Madueke down the right and his cross looks a good one but for Donnarumma to come hurtling out his goal to punch clear.

  He punches to the edge of the box where Calafiori attempts a volley but sends well over.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City43. Superb delivery into the box from Timber, whipped right in between penalty spot and six-yard box in behind the City defence.

  Gyokeres is on the edge of the box again having not anticipated it and City clear.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City42. Donnarumma punches it again but doesn’t get it right, knocking it back into the area.

  Saliba gets his head to it but heads well, well wide.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City41. Arsenal have plenty of options inside the box when Zubimendi digs a cross out.

  It’s City who win the header but only knocking it to Madueke and he can’t get it down to get a shot away, with the ball eventually cleared out for a corner.

  

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City38. Another chance and it’s a City one again.

  Gyokeres on his heels when he could’ve intercepted a short backpass.

  City then smash it long and Haaland has the beaten of Saliba for pace and power.

  Doku benefits from it and drives from right to left across the box before laying off for Rodri who skies a left-footed shot from the edge.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City36. Gabriel and Bernardo Silva have a bit of a coming together, then when the Arsenal man gets the ball back, Silva is late with a tackle on the touchline, catching the defender late.

  Gabriel is rolling around, seemingly in agony as Bernardo Silva is shown a yellow card.

  Didn’t seem much contact in the replays mind you. You’d want your centre half to be a bit tougher there.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City34. City almost in a 6-2-2 formation there as they defend the latest Arsenal attack.

  Arsenal finding it tough to break through that though and consistently find themselves recycling it back to halfway.

  The visitors comfortable at present despite the possession stats which will suggest they’re under the cosh.

  

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City31. That was nearly a chance for Arsenal there. Again, via a long throw aimed at Gabriel who goes down in the box.

  Arsenal keep it alive on the edge of the box where Rice clips a cross into the middle for Madueke coming in, who gets a header all wrong from eight yards and Donnarumma lets it go for a goal kick.

• Arsenal 0-1 Man City27. Not content with just corners, Arsenal win a throw 15 yards from the corner flag and Rice goes out to take it long.

  It’s not the longest throw you’ll ever see mind you, as O’Reilly heads clear as the first defender.

  But clearly an avenue they are keen to explore, though City are defending them comfortably thus far.
