President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a closed meeting with journalists.
“As for the assault, we have the assault battalions, regiments that show during 2025, of course, a good result. And we decided that we needed to enter the legal plane. “Russian” decided to do the same as we. We will now make separate assault troops, this decision has been made. Well, they work together today, the assault regiments from the DShV perform strong tasks, ”Zelensky said.
Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine include three main types: land troops, air forces and naval forces. In addition, they include individual genera of forces, such as the force of special operations, territorial defense forces, unmanned forces, as well as landing troops and communications and cybersecurity troops.
At this meeting, Zelensky also stated that Ukraine expects to strengthen sanctions against Russia from Europe and the US, and delaying this process inhibits pressure on Moscow.
He also stated that it is fair to talk about a joint decision to kill drones over Ukraine together with other states.
