Almost 60% of Ukrainians use a VI – Viber survey

Rakuten Viber interviewed Ukrainians on the use of artificial intelligence: in particular, what chats and tools they use. Six thousand people showed that only 25% do it regularly.

The answers to the questions “Do you use some SI tools, such as Chatgpt, Google Gemini, Midjourney or others?” distributed as follows:

  • Yes, but not often – 33%;
  • Yes, regularly – 25%;
  • I have never used (s) of the SI-tools-21%;
  • I do not know what it is – 12%;
  • I tried (-la) Shi-instruments, but I do not use them-9%.

As for the AI ​​tools used by Ukrainians, the most popular was Catgpt from Openai. Next goes Gomini from Google. All other tools are less popular:

  • Chatgpt – 85%;
  • Google Gemini – 64%;
  • Microsoft Copilot – 20%;
  • Midjourney – 11%;
  • Claude – 8%;
  • Other – 8%;
  • Dall-E-7%;
  • Perplexity AI – 5%;
  • No – 3%.

Rakuten Viber also asked Ukrainians who do not use artificial intelligence that stops them from working with Shi tools. Respondents who tried Shi-instruments but do not use them answered as follows:

  • I am concerned about the confidentiality or safety of data-31%;
  • The results were not very useful – 30%;
  • I do not trust the information they provide – 29%;
  • I don’t know how it works – 16%;
  • It was difficult to use – 11%;
  • They did not answer my questions – 11%;
  • Other – 13%.

Ukrainians who have never used Shi-tools explain their decision as follows:

  • I am so good – 43%;
  • I didn’t have an opportunity – 25%;
  • I am not sure (a) why I would use them (la) – 23%;
  • I don’t know how it works – 17%;
  • I do not want to pay – 16%;
  • I do not know which tools are available or where to find them – 14%;
  • I do not know how to register – 5%;
  • Other – 4%.

In addition, Viber also asked what the purpose of Ukrainians used artificial intelligence. Most often it is the search for information. Work and training do less than half of cases:

  • For information search – 81%;
  • For work – 37%;
  • For training – 35%;
  • For ideas and inspiration – 31%;
  • For medical advice – 27%;
  • For entertainment – 24%;
  • To understand the object by photo – 22%;
  • For writing emails and long messages – 18%;
  • Other – 5%.

Viber also asked whether Ukrainians used the functions of artificial intelligence built into the messenger, including such opportunities as a “compressed chat.” The answers were distributed as follows:

  • To see what points were discussed – 56%;
  • Just make sure that I did not miss (la) anything important – 52%;
  • See what decisions were made – 30%;
  • See what the next steps were agreed – 18%;
