Details: The register has opened the category of applications A2.8 and A2.9, intended for individuals – children and adults, who were moved by violent means in Ukraine or deported outside Ukraine as a result of Russia’s unlawful acts.

Category A2.8 “Violent Movement or Deportation of Children” is intended for applications related to the violent movement of children within the internationally recognized territory of Ukraine.
Applications on behalf of minors can be submitted by their parents or legal guardians, according to the message.
Category A2.9 “Violent Movement or Deportation of Adults” is intended for applications of persons who were also displaced by violent ways within Ukraine or deported outside Ukraine as a result of international-proof actions of the Russian Federation.
“Starting categories A2.8, A.2.9 is the next stage in fixing the losses and losses caused as a result of aggression of the Russian Federation,” – the message reads.
The Agreement on Register of Damage from Aggression of the Russian Federation (RD4U) was approved in May 2023 at the Council of Europe Summit in Iceland. The Executive Director of the Register of Damage, which is based in the Hague, was appointed Markian Klyuchkovsky.
As of May, the registry had more than 27.5 thousand applications in different categories.
