Commenting on this question, in particular, he said about a potential meeting between leaders next week.
“Repeated telephone conversations, multiple meetings with Zelensky, including probably next week in New York,” he said.
The US Secretary of State repeatedly repeated that Trump “inherited this three -year war from Biden’s administration.”
“He is trying to do everything possible to put her land. We are working closely with our partners in Europe over security guarantees because it will be necessary for any negotiation settlement. And he will continue to try,” he added.

- The last Zelensky and Trump were seen in August after US President Vladimir Putin held the first negotiations in the US state of Alaska.
