In August 2025, Ukrainians purchased 2424 Chinese cars, 88% of them – electric vehicles

In August, Ukrainians purchased 2424 Chinese -made carsreports Ukravtoprom. It’s on 42% morethan for a similar month of 2024.

In general, from this number:

• 2026 cars were new (+52% by August last year);
• 398 – used (+7%).

At the same time 88% imported machines were electric vehicles.

Top 5 new models from China:

Byd song Plus – 361 units;

Volkswagen Id.unyx – 206 units;

Honda Ens1 – 202 units;

Byd sea lion 07 – 155 units;

Audi Q4 – 109 units

Top 5 used models:

ZEEKR 001 – 33 units;

Byd sea lion 07 – 28 units;

Byd song Plus – 26 units;

Polestar 2 – 19 units;

ZEEKR 7X – 18 units

We will remind that in the first half of 2025 42.7 thousand passenger electric vehicles were imported to Ukraine. This is 38% more than in the same period last year. The total customs value of these cars reached $ 813.8 million.
