Details: Both commanders were shifted from their posts about a week or two ago. According to the UP interlocutors, such decisions of the head committees are related to the loss of positions in the area of responsibility of the corps.

The 17th Corps, which was headed by Silenko, stands in the Zaporozhye region, where recently the forces of defense have lost the village of Kamianske and part of the village of Plavni, located on the Dnieper bank. The 20th Corps, headed by Kitugin, stands on the border of Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions, where the Russians managed to break into Dnipropetrovsk.
These are the first personnel shift from the moment of transition of defense forces to the corps management system.
